Wild Asia is where families can navigate their way through fallen temples a lost land rumored to channel supernatural powers of sacred animals. Richco were advised that the Wild Asia’s floor area needed to resemble the rustic look and feel of Asia.

The Richco application team carried out preparation and installed Richco Imprinted Quartz to various areas. The Imprinted Quartz was stamped with various patterns and molds to give the effect of cracked concrete, animal footprints and tire treads.

The finished flooring area met with the client’s requirements by providing a perfectly themed area that is hard wearing, long lasting and provides anti slip properties.

Chessington World of Adventures – Toy Town

Toytown has a number of gentle rides for young adventurers. Richco were advised that a number of their ride entrances and walkways became slippery, especially in the wet.

The Richco application team installed a variety of non-slip systems in a variety of colors to meet the theme of the ride or walkway in our colored quartz system.

The finished floor met with the client’s requirements by providing an anti-slip surface whilst maintaining the theme of the surrounding area.

Chessington Zoo is a fabulous part of the total Chessington World of Adventures experience – there are over 1,000 animals from the exotic and endangered to the just plain cute. Included in the Chessington Zoo is the Sealion bay which has 4 Californian Sealions splashing about in the water. Richco were advised that wooden feeding and viewing platform becomes notoriously slippery when wet.

The Richco application team carried out preparation to the wooden decking and then installed DINO GRIP Anti Slip Decking Strips in brown and DINO GRIP Stair Nosings in yellow.

The finished decking met with the client’s requirements by providing an anti-slip surface and contrasting colored nosing to the stair edges.

Pirates Cove has a number of rides for families including The Seastorm. This ride offers an exciting thrill which mimics a high sea adventure. Richco were advised that The Seastorm platform required an anti-slip surface to be applied as the pedestrian access became slippery especially in the wet.

The Richco application team carried out preparation to the current surface and installed Richco Anti Slip Floor Coating to the platform in red.

The finished platform met with the client’s requirements by providing an anti-slip surface even during the wet weather. The finished surface also provides light stable properties.

Toytown has several gentle rides for young adventurers including a Carousel. Richco were advised that the wooden decking on the carousel required an anti-slip system as the surface became increasingly slippery, especially in the wet. Chessington World of Adventures requested that the original wooden decking remain a feature to keep in theme with the historic nature of the Carousel.

The Richco application team carried out preparation to the wooden decking and then installed DINO GRIP Anti Slip Decking Strips in black. The finished floor met with the client’s requirements by providing an anti-slip surface whilst maintaining the original appearance of the wooden decking.
